The last month of the school year is really intense for students, through these pictures you can see how stressed students are. All photo have been taken at Kenwood Academy High School. In these pictures are featured student, teachers and counselors.

The pictures were taken in diverse areas within the school: the library, the conference room which is located in the main office, the college lab, but mainly in class. They all express students’ stress in different ways.

These images include Seniors for the most part, because they are stressed out about their applications to schools, graduation requirements, grades, prom, FAFSA, and many other things.

Kenwood Academy High School has many requirements for graduation, students have to apply to five schools, and get accepted to at least five schools, fill in the FAFSA for financial aid on time which requires parents’ information and many other things. These are multiple reasons to get stressed out.

The pictures include students that are stressed out about college yet to come, and others about finals and AP testing. In addition, teachers and counselors have a lot of pressure as well. Teachers have to put grades in early and make finals for Seniors before they leave. Teachers also deal with student who complain about their grades. Counselors have to deal with students who do not have a chosen college, and others who have not completed or started on their FAFSA, which may explain why they would be stressed out too.
